Esomac L 40

Esomac L from Cipla combines esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, with levosulpiride, a prokinetic that also helps with nausea, for people with reflux symptoms and slow gut movement.

• GERD with regurgitation
• Functional dyspepsia (indigestion)
• Nausea, bloating and fullness after meals

Esomeprazole reduces stomach acid production so the food pipe can heal and burning eases. Levosulpiride encourages the upper gut to move food along smoothly and dampens nausea signals.

Swallow whole with water, usually 30 to 60 minutes before a meal, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not open or crush the capsule.

• Drowsiness
• Headache or dizziness
• Diarrhoea or constipation
• Dry mouth
• Breast tenderness or menstrual changes (with longer use)

Tell your doctor about Parkinson's disease, prolactin-related issues, heart rhythm problems, kidney or liver disease, epilepsy, or pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid driving if drowsy. Long-term use needs regular review.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from sunlight, out of children's reach.
