Gluconorm G3 Forte

Gluconorm G3 Forte combines a higher dose of glimepiride (a sulfonylurea) with a stronger dose of metformin (a biguanide) in a single tablet. The Forte version is generally used for adults whose type 2 diabetes needs firmer control than a regular combination can give.

Glimepiride pushes the pancreas to release more insulin, and metformin makes the body more sensitive to that insulin while cutting down on how much glucose the liver releases, so sugar stays steadier through the day.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with a meal so the stronger metformin dose is easier on the stomach. Swallow whole with water.
