Glimestar M3 Forte

Glimestar M3 Forte from Mankind is a combination anti-diabetic tablet with a higher strength of Glimepiride along with Metformin. Doctors prescribe it for adults whose type 2 diabetes needs stronger control.

Glimepiride, a sulfonylurea, helps the pancreas release more insulin. Metformin, a biguanide, cuts down extra glucose released by the liver and helps the body respond better to its own insulin. The pair gives better day-long control.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow whole with a glass of water during or right after a meal. Never miss meals after taking this tablet as it can cause low sugar.

• Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar)
• Stomach upset, nausea or diarrhoea
• Metallic taste
• Weight gain or loss
• Long-term vitamin B12 deficiency

Not suitable in severe kidney or liver disease. Avoid alcohol. Stop before any scan with contrast dye and inform your doctor if you are unwell, dehydrated or unable to eat. Carry sugar candy at all times.

Keep below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of children's reach.
