Istavel 100 from Sun Pharma contains sitagliptin, an oral medicine that helps manage blood sugar in type 2 diabetes by working with the body's own hormones.

How it works
Sitagliptin blocks an enzyme called DPP-4. This allows natural gut hormones to last longer, so the body releases more insulin after meals and reduces sugar output from the liver.
How to take
