Dulcoflex

Dulcoflex from Opella Healthcare contains Bisacodyl, a stimulant laxative. It is used for short-term relief of constipation and to help clear the bowel before certain medical procedures.

Bisacodyl gently stimulates the muscles of the large intestine and helps the bowel hold more water, which softens the stool and helps it move along.

Swallow the tablet whole with water as prescribed by your doctor. Do not crush, chew or take with milk or antacids.

• Nausea
• Mild dehydration if overused

Avoid long-term daily use unless advised. Tell your doctor about severe stomach pain, blockage, ongoing diarrhoea or rectal bleeding. Drink enough water during treatment. Use cautiously in pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children only on medical advice.

Store below 25 degree C in a dry place, away from sunlight and out of reach of children.
