Flokind Tablet from Mankind Pharma contains Tamsulosin, an alpha-blocker used for the prostate and urinary tract. Doctors prescribe it to older men with urine flow troubles from an enlarged prostate.

• Enlarged prostate (BPH)
• Difficulty starting urine
• Weak urine stream
• Night-time urination
• Feeling of incomplete bladder emptying

Tamsulosin relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck. This widens the path for urine, so it flows out easily with less strain.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow whole with a glass of water, about 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Do not crush or chew.

• Dizziness, especially on standing

• Changes in ejaculation

Stand up slowly from sitting or lying down. Tell the eye surgeon you take this medicine before any eye surgery. Inform the doctor about low blood pressure or liver issues.
