Flodart Tablet from Aristo contains Tamsulosin, an alpha-blocker for the prostate and urinary tract. Doctors often prescribe it for older men with urine flow problems due to an enlarged prostate.

• Enlarged prostate (BPH)
• Difficulty in starting urine
• Weak urinary stream
• Frequent urge to urinate at night
• Incomplete bladder emptying

Tamsulosin relaxes the muscles around the prostate and the opening of the bladder. This makes it easier for urine to flow out and reduces the strain during urination.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow whole with a glass of water, about 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Dizziness, especially on standing up
• Mild headache
• Stuffy or runny nose
• Tiredness
• Changes in ejaculation

Stand up slowly from sitting or lying down to avoid giddiness. Inform your doctor before any eye surgery, as this medicine can affect the iris. Tell the doctor about low blood pressure or liver problems.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
