About
Cortel 40 from AIMIL contains Telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker used to manage high blood pressure and to support heart and kidney health in certain conditions.
Uses

How it works
Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. With the hormone blocked, vessels relax and widen, which lowers blood pressure and eases the heart's workload.
How to take
Swallow the tablet whole with water as prescribed by your doctor. Try to take it at the same time each day, with or without food.

Precautions
Tell your doctor about kidney problems, dehydration or pregnancy plans, as this class is not for use during pregnancy. Stand up slowly from sitting or lying. Have blood pressure and kidney tests as advised.
