Glimestar PM2 10 tab

Glimestar PM2 from Mankind is a triple-combination diabetes tablet with a higher dose of Glimepiride along with sustained-release Metformin and Pioglitazone. It is prescribed when type 2 diabetes needs three-way support for control.

Glimepiride increases insulin release from the pancreas. Metformin SR slowly lowers liver-made sugar and improves how the body uses insulin. Pioglitazone increases the body's response to insulin in muscle and fat tissue. The three together give all-round control.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow whole with water alongside a main meal. Do not crush or break the tablet. Keep regular meal times and home sugar checks.

• Hypoglycaemia (low sugar)
• Weight gain, ankle swelling
• Bloating, nausea, loose motions
• Metallic taste
• Bone thinning on long use

Avoid in heart failure, bladder cancer history, severe liver or kidney disease. Report breathlessness, swelling, dark urine or unexplained weight gain. Avoid alcohol and do regular blood tests as advised.

Keep below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of children's reach.
