Uniglip-PM2 SR 15 tab

Uniglip-PM2 SR is a fixed-dose anti-diabetic tablet from VHL that combines glimepiride, metformin (sustained-release), and pioglitazone to help manage type 2 diabetes when single drugs are not enough.

• Improving long-term blood sugar control

Glimepiride prompts the pancreas to release more insulin, metformin reduces glucose production by the liver and improves how the body uses insulin, and pioglitazone increases insulin sensitivity in muscle and fat tissue. Together they lower blood sugar through complementary pathways.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with a meal. Swallow the sustained-release tablet whole without crushing or chewing.

• Low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
• Nausea, stomach upset, or diarrhoea
• Weight gain or fluid retention
• Vitamin B12 deficiency with long-term use
• Headache or dizziness

Share any history of kidney, liver, or heart problems, bladder cancer, or bone fractures with your doctor. Not advised in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Monitor blood sugar regularly and avoid skipping meals.
