Telma CT 40/6.25 from Glenmark uses Telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker, with a smaller dose of Chlorthalidone, a thiazide-like diuretic. The lower diuretic content suits patients who need gentler salt-water balance.

Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II to keep blood vessels relaxed. The small dose of Chlorthalidone helps the kidneys clear a little extra salt and water, gently reducing blood volume and pressure.

Take as prescribed by your doctor with water, ideally in the morning.
