Cortel CH from Corona combines Telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker, with Chlorthalidone, a long-acting water tablet (thiazide-like diuretic). It is used when single-drug therapy is not enough to control high blood pressure.

• High blood pressure not controlled by one drug
• Long-term blood pressure management as advised

Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of angiotensin II, while Chlorthalidone helps the kidneys remove extra salt and water. Together they lower blood pressure more effectively than either alone.

Swallow the tablet whole with water as prescribed by your doctor. Take it at the same time each day, preferably in the morning to avoid night-time bathroom trips.

• Dizziness, especially on standing
• Increased urination, mostly early on
• Tiredness or muscle cramps
• Changes in salt or sugar levels in blood

Not for use during pregnancy. Tell your doctor about kidney issues, gout, diabetes or low potassium. Get blood pressure, kidney and electrolyte checks as advised. Stand up slowly.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight and out of children's reach.
