Dynaglipt M SR from Mankind Pharma combines Teneligliptin with sustained-release Metformin in one tablet. It is prescribed for type 2 diabetes when a single medicine is not enough.

Teneligliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that boosts the body's own insulin response after meals and lowers sugar made by the liver. Metformin is a biguanide that reduces sugar output from the liver and makes muscles more sensitive to insulin. The sustained-release form of Metformin spreads its action through the day, with fewer stomach side effects.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably with or just after a meal. Do not crush, chew or break — that will damage the SR design. Take at about the same time daily.

Not for use in serious kidney or liver disease, heart failure or recent heart attack. Stop before scans using contrast dye or major surgery and restart only when the doctor allows. Watch for signs of low blood sugar. Limit alcohol.
