Tenepla-M 500

Tenepla-M 500 from Cipla combines Teneligliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor, with a lower strength of Metformin, a biguanide. It is used in adults with type 2 diabetes who need broader sugar control than a single medicine offers.

Teneligliptin increases incretin hormones, prompting the pancreas to release more insulin after meals and signalling the liver to make less glucose. Metformin reduces sugar release from the liver and helps muscles respond better to insulin.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, preferably with food to reduce stomach upset. Swallow with water and try to take at the same times daily.
