Natrise 4 tab

Natrise from Sun Pharma is a tablet containing Tolvaptan. It is a prescription medicine used in hospital and clinic settings to correct low sodium levels in the blood caused by certain medical conditions.

• Low blood sodium (hyponatraemia) due to SIADH, heart failure or liver problems
• Conditions where the body holds on to too much water

Tolvaptan is a vasopressin V2 receptor blocker. It helps the kidneys pass out extra water while keeping sodium in the body, so the blood sodium level slowly returns towards normal.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually under medical supervision. Drink water freely when you feel thirsty. Do not skip blood tests asked for by the doctor.

• Increased thirst
• Frequent urination
• Dry mouth
• Weakness or tiredness
• Rise in blood sugar

This medicine is usually started in a hospital so sodium can be watched closely. Tell the doctor about liver disease, urinary problems or dehydration. Inform the doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Keep below 25°C, away from moisture and sunlight. Store in the original strip and keep out of reach of children.
