Medrol 4 10 tab

Medrol 4 from Pfizer is a low-strength methylprednisolone tablet. This corticosteroid is often used as a maintenance or tapering strength after stronger doses have brought a condition under control.

• Allergic conditions including skin and respiratory allergies
• Rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory joint problems
• Asthma and certain lung conditions
• Autoimmune skin and connective tissue disorders
• Tapering down higher steroid doses

Methylprednisolone acts on the immune system and on the chemical messengers that drive inflammation. By reducing their activity, it eases swelling, redness, itching and pain in the affected tissues.

Take the tablet with food and a glass of water as prescribed by your doctor, ideally at the same time each day. Do not stop or change the dose on your own.

• More frequent infections
• Thinning of bones with long use

Let your doctor know if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, an active infection, glaucoma, ulcers or are planning vaccinations. Long courses need regular check-ups and the dose is normally reduced step by step.

Store in the original blister below 25 degrees Celsius, away from moisture and sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
