About
Moxovas 0.2 tablets from Macleods Pharmaceuticals contain moxonidine, a centrally acting antihypertensive that works through imidazoline receptors. It is used to control high blood pressure.
Uses
- Mild to moderate hypertension
- Adjunct therapy with other BP medicines
How it works
Moxonidine quiets overactive nerve signals from the brain to blood vessels and the heart. With less sympathetic drive, vessels widen and blood pressure eases.
How to take
Swallow whole with water as prescribed by your doctor. Take it consistently at the same time of day. Do not stop suddenly.
