About
Embeta XR-25 from Intas is a pack of 30 extended-release tablets of metoprolol succinate, a selective beta-1 blocker. The slow-release design lets one daily dose work steadily through the day.
Uses
- High blood pressure
- Long-term angina (chest pain)
- Stable heart failure
- Some irregular heartbeats
How it works
It blocks beta-1 receptors in the heart, slowing the heart rate and gently reducing the force of each beat. This lowers blood pressure and the heart's workload.
How to take
Swallow the tablet whole with water, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not crush or chew it. Take it at the same time each day, with or just after food.

Precautions
