Cinetofa 10 tab

Cinetofa from Unimark contains tofacitinib, a JAK (Janus kinase) inhibitor. It is prescribed for certain long-term inflammatory conditions when standard treatments haven't given enough relief.

• Moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis
• Psoriatic arthritis and ulcerative colitis in adults, as your doctor advises

Tofacitinib blocks specific signalling enzymes (JAK pathways) that immune cells use to drive inflammation. By dialling down these signals, it eases joint swelling, pain and stiffness.

Swallow whole with water, as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Do not split or crush the tablet.

• Increased risk of infections (cold, sinusitis, urinary)
• Headache or diarrhoea
• Raised cholesterol on blood tests
• Mild liver enzyme changes

Get recommended infection screening (including TB) before starting. Tell your doctor about heart, liver or clotting history. Keep up with regular blood tests as advised. Avoid live vaccines while on treatment.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
