Valsacube 50 from Knoll Healthcare is a fixed-dose combination of Sacubitril and Valsartan, an angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI). It is prescribed to people with certain types of chronic heart failure.

• Long-term treatment of chronic heart failure with reduced pumping strength
• Helps reduce hospital visits related to heart failure
• May be used in some cases of high blood pressure as guided by your doctor

Valsartan blocks a hormone signal that tightens blood vessels, while sacubitril boosts protective natural peptides that relax vessels and help the body get rid of extra salt and water. Together they ease the workload on the heart.

Swallow the tablet whole with water as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food at the same times each day.

• Low blood pressure, dizziness on standing
• Cough, raised potassium levels
• Kidney function changes
• Rare swelling of face, lips or throat (angioedema) — seek emergency help if this occurs

Not for use in pregnancy. Do not combine with ACE inhibitors. Tell your doctor about kidney or liver problems and all current medicines. Regular blood pressure, kidney and potassium checks are advised.
