How it works
Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that eases tension in the muscle layer of blood vessels, allowing them to widen and lowering blood pressure. It also gently calms certain nerve signals, which may help reduce ankle swelling and racing pulse seen with older medicines in this class.
How to take
Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food, at around the same time each day. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor and do not stop suddenly.
