About
Embeta AM 25 from Intas combines a beta-blocker with a calcium channel blocker. The two work through different routes to ease blood pressure together.
Uses

How it works
Metoprolol slows the heart and reduces its workload by blocking beta-1 receptors. Amlodipine relaxes the muscle in artery walls, widening them. Together they lower blood pressure more smoothly than either alone.
How to take
Swallow the tablet with water once daily, at the same time, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop suddenly.
Side effects
- Tiredness, dizziness, or headache
- Slow heartbeat
- Ankle swelling or flushing
Precautions
Mention asthma, liver disease, diabetes, or heart failure to your doctor. Avoid sudden stopping. Rise slowly to prevent dizziness, especially when starting treatment.
