Cetapin XR 1000

Cetapin XR 1000 is an extended-release diabetes tablet from Sanofi that contains metformin, a biguanide. It is used to help control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes.

Metformin lowers the amount of sugar made by the liver and helps the body respond better to insulin. The extended-release form releases the medicine slowly over the day.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with the evening meal. Swallow the tablet whole with water and do not crush or chew it.
