About
Met XL Trio 25 from Ajanta is a triple combination blood-pressure tablet with Metoprolol, Amlodipine and Telmisartan. It is prescribed to adults whose BP does not settle with one or two medicines.
Uses
- High blood pressure that needs combination therapy
- Long-term BP control with heart and kidney protection
How it works
Metoprolol slows the heart and reduces its workload. Amlodipine relaxes the small arteries so blood flows more easily. Telmisartan blocks the hormone angiotensin II that normally tightens vessels. The three together lower BP from three different angles.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with water, at the same time each day. Do not skip or stop suddenly.

Precautions
Avoid in pregnancy. Tell the doctor about asthma, severe heart block, very low BP, kidney disease, or dehydration. Get up slowly and check BP at home if advised.
