About
Met XL R 25/2.5 from Ajanta combines Metoprolol with Ramipril in one tablet. It is prescribed for adults with high blood pressure or heart conditions that benefit from both a beta-blocker and an ACE inhibitor.
Uses
- High blood pressure

- Mild to moderate heart failure as advised
How it works
Metoprolol slows the heart rate and reduces the work it does. Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor that relaxes blood vessels by stopping the body from making a hormone called angiotensin II. Together they lower BP and help the heart pump more easily.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with water at a fixed time daily. The first dose may cause dizziness, so take it when you can sit or lie down.

Precautions
Not for use in pregnancy. Inform the doctor if you have asthma, kidney problems, very low BP, or any allergy that caused face or throat swelling. Rise slowly from sitting and keep follow-up appointments for kidney and potassium checks.
