About
Embeta XR 50 from Intas is an extended-release tablet containing metoprolol succinate, a selective beta-1 blocker. The XR design releases the medicine evenly so one tablet can cover the full day.
Uses

How it works
It blocks beta-1 receptors in the heart, which slows the heart rate and reduces the force of each beat. This lowers blood pressure and the heart's oxygen demand.
How to take
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not crush or chew it. Take it at the same time daily, with or just after food.

Precautions
