About

Tenepla 20 is an oral anti-diabetic tablet from Cipla containing Teneligliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor (gliptin class). It helps adults with type 2 diabetes keep blood sugar levels steady through the day.

How it works

Teneligliptin blocks the DPP-4 enzyme that normally breaks down incretin hormones. With more incretins around, the pancreas releases insulin when blood sugar rises and the liver makes less glucose, smoothing out post-meal spikes.

How to take

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water at around the same time each day.
