Unistat 10

Unistat 10 is a cholesterol-lowering tablet from Torrent containing rosuvastatin, a statin used to manage high cholesterol and reduce cardiovascular risk.

• High LDL (bad) cholesterol
• Mixed dyslipidaemia
• Prevention of heart attack and stroke in at-risk adults
• Slowing the progression of atherosclerosis

Rosuvastatin blocks an enzyme the liver uses to make cholesterol. With less cholesterol produced, the liver pulls more LDL out of the blood, lowering overall cholesterol and easing strain on the arteries.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day at any time, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water.

• Muscle aches or weakness
• Headache
• Nausea or stomach pain
• Constipation
• Liver enzyme changes (uncommon)

Report unexplained muscle pain, dark urine, or yellowing of the skin promptly. Tell your doctor about liver, kidney, or thyroid problems, alcohol use, and any other medicines. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
