Rosavel 10 from Sun Pharma is a cholesterol-lowering tablet that contains Rosuvastatin. It belongs to a class of medicines called statins and is commonly prescribed for adults with high cholesterol or those at risk of heart disease.

Rosuvastatin blocks an enzyme in the liver called HMG-CoA reductase, which the body uses to make cholesterol. With less cholesterol being produced, the liver pulls more bad cholesterol (LDL) out of the blood, helping keep the arteries clear.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. The tablet can be taken at any time of the day, with or without food, but try to take it at the same time daily. Swallow whole with a glass of water.

Tell the doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, thyroid disease, or drink alcohol regularly. Report any unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or dark urine right away. Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Keep below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the strip in its original pack and out of reach of children.
