About

Uses

How it works
Telmisartan blocks a hormone that narrows blood vessels, helping them stay relaxed. Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, eases the muscles in the vessel walls. Both together lower the pressure inside the arteries.
How to take
Swallow whole with water, with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor. Take it at the same time each day. Do not stop just because you feel well, as blood pressure may rise again.

Precautions
Tell your doctor about kidney or liver problems, heart conditions, low blood pressure, or if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy. Avoid grapefruit juice. Rise slowly from sitting to reduce dizziness.
