Dapanorm M from Alkem Laboratories combines dapagliflozin with metformin, two well-known anti-diabetic medicines used together to manage type 2 diabetes in adults.

• Helps lower elevated blood sugar in type 2 diabetes
• Used when single-drug therapy is not enough

Dapagliflozin helps the kidneys remove extra sugar through urine, while metformin reduces sugar produced by the liver and improves the body's response to insulin.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food to reduce stomach upset. Swallow whole with water.

• Urinary or genital infections
• Nausea, gas, or diarrhoea
• Increased urination
• Mild dehydration

Tell your doctor about kidney problems, heart issues, or dehydration history. Drink enough water and watch for low blood sugar signs if combined with other diabetes medicines. Avoid in pregnancy unless advised.
