Dytor 100

Dytor 100 from Cipla is a high-strength Torsemide tablet. It is a powerful loop diuretic used by doctors mainly for severe fluid overload when lower strengths are not enough.

• Severe swelling in advanced heart failure
• Fluid overload in chronic kidney disease
• Fluid build-up in serious liver disease
• Resistant high blood pressure

Torsemide is a loop diuretic that acts on the loop of Henle inside the kidney. It blocks salt and water from being reabsorbed, so the body passes more urine. This reduces fluid in the lungs, legs and abdomen and eases breathlessness in heart failure.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, usually in the morning so the increased urination does not disturb sleep. Take with or without food. Do not change the dose on your own.

• Frequent urination
• Thirst, dry mouth
• Dizziness or low blood pressure
• Headache
• Low potassium, sodium, magnesium
• Muscle cramps
• Tiredness

Use strictly under medical supervision. Inform the doctor about kidney disease, gout, diabetes or sulpha allergy. Regular blood tests for kidney function and electrolytes are very important. Stand up slowly. Avoid dehydration and limit alcohol.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
