Nexluma 42 contains lumateperone, a newer antipsychotic medicine. The Nexluma brand is associated with Sun Pharma in India, and lumateperone is used for certain serious mental health conditions.

Lumateperone is thought to work by gently balancing several brain chemicals, including serotonin, dopamine, and glutamate. This combined action helps reduce symptoms like disordered thinking, low mood, and emotional disturbance.

Take the capsule once daily with water, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It can usually be taken with or without food. Continue using it even if you feel better, and do not stop on your own.
