Cerviprime is a vaginal gel from Zydus that contains dinoprostone, a synthetic prostaglandin E2. It is used in hospital settings to help prepare the cervix before childbirth.

How it works
Dinoprostone softens and opens the cervix and can stimulate the womb to contract, supporting the start of labour.

Precautions
