Formonide 0.5mg Respules is a Zydus respiratory preparation that pairs budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid, with formoterol, a long-acting beta-2 agonist. It is delivered through a nebuliser for people with asthma or chronic obstructive lung disease who need ongoing control rather than quick rescue.

Budesonide calms the swelling and irritation inside your airways, while formoterol gently relaxes the muscle bands around them so air can move more freely. Together they keep the breathing tubes open and less reactive over time.

Use with a nebuliser exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Rinse your mouth with water after each session to lower the chance of throat irritation or oral thrush.

• Hoarseness or sore throat
• Mild tremor or fast heartbeat
• Oral thrush if mouth is not rinsed
• Headache

Tell your doctor if you have diabetes, heart rhythm problems, thyroid issues, or a current lung infection. This is a controller medicine, not a rescue inhaler, so do not use it for sudden breathlessness.
