Foracort 1mg resp

Foracort 1mg Respules from Cipla are single-use plastic ampoules that contain a liquid mix of a steroid and a long-acting bronchodilator. They are used with a nebuliser machine.

• Eases wheezing and breathlessness
• Useful when inhalers are hard to use

The steroid lowers inflammation inside the airways, while the bronchodilator relaxes airway muscles. The nebuliser turns the liquid into a fine mist that reaches deep into the lungs.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. Empty the contents of a respule into the nebuliser cup and breathe in the mist through the mask or mouthpiece. Rinse your mouth afterwards.

• Throat irritation or hoarseness
• Mild tremors in hands
• Fast or irregular heartbeat
• Oral thrush if mouth is not rinsed

Not meant for sudden severe attacks; keep a fast-acting inhaler for emergencies. Tell your doctor about heart issues, diabetes, thyroid disease, pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

Store below 25 degrees C, away from direct sunlight. Use each respule immediately after opening and do not reuse leftover liquid.
