Lovax 300

Lovax 300 from Lupin contains Oxcarbazepine, an anti-epileptic medicine. It is a prescription tablet used to control certain types of seizures in adults and children.

• Treats partial seizures in epilepsy
• Used alone or with other anti-seizure drugs
• Helps reduce seizure frequency

Oxcarbazepine calms overactive electrical signals in the brain by stabilising nerve cell membranes, which lowers the chance of a seizure starting and spreading.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or without food. Swallow whole with water and try to keep the timing consistent each day. Do not stop suddenly.

• Drowsiness, dizziness or headache
• Nausea or vomiting
• Double vision or unsteady walking
• Low blood sodium with prolonged use

Tell your doctor about kidney, liver or heart problems and any rash history. Avoid driving until you know how you react. Inform the doctor if pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not stop the medicine on your own.

Store below 30 degrees C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children.
