Admenta 5 is a Sun Pharma tablet with memantine 5mg. It is a prescription medicine for moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease and is often the starting strength before the dose is increased. It eases symptoms but does not cure the disease.

Memantine blocks NMDA receptors in the brain to control glutamate, a chemical that becomes overactive in Alzheimer's. This helps protect nerve cells and improve symptoms.

Take exactly as your doctor prescribes. Memantine is usually started low and increased gradually, so follow their schedule.
