Alzil M5 contains donepezil and memantine in a lower-strength combination, often used to start or step up therapy for Alzheimer's disease.

Donepezil raises acetylcholine by blocking its breakdown, supporting memory pathways. Memantine moderates excess glutamate activity, helping protect nerve cells from overstimulation.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once in the evening with or without food. Swallow whole with water.

• Sleep changes

Mention heart rhythm conditions, kidney disease, seizures or ulcer history. Do not change the dose on your own and rise slowly from sitting.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place, away from sunlight and out of reach of children.
