Oxetol 300 from Sun Pharma contains oxcarbazepine, an anticonvulsant prescribed to control seizures in epilepsy and sometimes for nerve pain.

• Partial seizures in adults and children
• Generalised tonic-clonic seizures (as add-on)
• Selected nerve-pain conditions

Oxcarbazepine steadies the electrical activity of nerve cells in the brain, helping to prevent the sudden surges that trigger seizures.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Swallow whole with water and keep your dosing times consistent.

• Dizziness or sleepiness
• Headache
• Nausea, vomiting, or stomach upset
• Vision changes
• Reduced sodium in the blood

Share any history of kidney problems, low sodium, skin reactions, pregnancy, or breastfeeding with your doctor. Avoid alcohol, and do not drive if you feel drowsy. Never stop the medicine on your own.
