D10 500 ml is a 10% dextrose intravenous fluid used in hospitals and clinics to provide rapid sugar replacement when blood glucose drops or when a calorie source is needed.

• Treatment of low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
• Source of calories during illness
• Carrier fluid for certain IV medicines

Dextrose is a simple sugar that the body uses immediately for energy. Given through a vein, it quickly raises blood glucose and supplies fluid to tissues.

Given only by a doctor or trained nurse through a vein in a clinical setting, as prescribed by your doctor.

• Pain or swelling at the IV site
• High blood sugar if infused too fast
• Fluid overload in sensitive patients

Use with care in diabetes, heart failure, or kidney problems. Blood sugar and fluid status are monitored during infusion. Discard if the solution is cloudy or the seal is broken.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from light. Do not freeze.
