Saheli Plus 10 tab

Saheli Plus from HLL Lifecare is a non-hormonal oral contraceptive that contains centchroman (ormeloxifene), a selective estrogen receptor modulator developed in India. It is taken weekly rather than daily.

Ormeloxifene works mainly by blocking the womb lining from developing the way it needs to for a fertilised egg to settle in. It does this without disturbing the body's natural hormone cycle the way combined pills do.

Take one tablet twice a week for the first three months, then once a week thereafter, as prescribed by your doctor. Try to take it on the same day each week.

Not suitable if you have polycystic ovarian disease, severe liver or kidney problems, certain hormone-sensitive conditions, or are breastfeeding. Tell your doctor about all medicines you take and any history of jaundice or fibroids.
