About
Gardenal 30 mg from Abbott Healthcare contains phenobarbital, a long-acting barbiturate. It is mainly used to control certain types of seizures and is one of the oldest epilepsy medicines.

How it works
Phenobarbital boosts the calming effect of a brain chemical called GABA, which reduces excess electrical activity in the brain and helps prevent seizures.
How to take
