ED Phenicol (Eye Ointment) 100 gm

ED Phenicol Eye Ointment from Eamon contains chloramphenicol, a well-established antibiotic used for treating certain eye infections. It is applied in a thin layer inside the lower eyelid.

Chloramphenicol stops bacteria from making the proteins they need to grow, which helps clear the infection in the eye.

Apply as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands first, gently pull down the lower eyelid and apply a small ribbon of ointment, then close the eye for a minute to let it spread.

• Allergic reaction in rare cases

Avoid touching the tube tip to your eye or any surface. Do not wear contact lenses during treatment unless your doctor allows it. Tell your doctor about any past reaction to chloramphenicol.

Store in a cool, dry place below 25 degrees Celsius. Discard the tube within four weeks of opening or as directed.
