Jalra 100 OD from USV contains Vildagliptin, an oral medicine used in adults with type 2 diabetes to help control blood sugar levels, often once daily.

• Type 2 diabetes blood sugar control
• Used alone or with other anti-diabetic medicines
• Adjunct to diet and exercise

Vildagliptin belongs to the DPP-4 inhibitor class. It blocks an enzyme that breaks down incretin hormones, so the body produces more insulin in response to meals and less glucose from the liver between meals.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Follow your diabetes meal and exercise plan along with the medicine.

Inform your doctor about liver, kidney, heart, or pancreas issues and all medicines you take. Get periodic liver function tests as advised. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only if specifically advised.
