Resteclin 250 10 cap

Resteclin 250 from Abbott contains tetracycline, a broad-spectrum antibiotic from the tetracycline class. It is prescribed for a range of bacterial infections, including respiratory, urinary, skin, and certain sexually transmitted infections.

• Bacterial respiratory infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Acne and certain skin infections
• Some sexually transmitted infections like chlamydia

Tetracycline blocks bacteria from making the proteins they need to grow and multiply. With protein production stalled, the bacteria stop spreading and your immune system can clear the infection more easily.

Swallow whole with a full glass of water as prescribed by your doctor. Take on an empty stomach when possible, and avoid taking it with milk, antacids, or iron at the same time, as they reduce absorption.

Not for children under 8 years or in pregnancy and breastfeeding because of effects on developing teeth and bones. Tell your doctor about kidney or liver disease, lupus, or any antibiotic allergy. Use sun protection while on it.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in the original strip, away from light, heat, and moisture. Discard expired capsules, as old tetracycline can become harmful. Keep out of reach of children.
