Dytor 40 is a prescription diuretic tablet from Cipla containing torsemide, a medicine used to help the body get rid of extra fluid. It is often prescribed for people dealing with fluid build-up linked to heart, kidney, or liver conditions, and for high blood pressure.

Torsemide is a loop diuretic. It works on a specific part of the kidney to make you pass more urine, which lowers the amount of extra fluid and salt in the body.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually in the morning so it does not disturb your sleep. Swallow with water and try to stay well hydrated unless told otherwise.
