Hopace MT 50 from Micro Labs is a prescription tablet combining Ramipril, an ACE inhibitor, with Metoprolol Succinate, a long-acting beta-blocker. It is used when stronger control of blood pressure or heart symptoms is needed.

How it works
Ramipril relaxes blood vessels so blood flows easily and pressure drops. Metoprolol Succinate works slowly through the day to reduce heart rate and the force of each beat, which lowers the load on the heart.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, usually once a day at the same time. Do not crush or chew the extended-release tablet, and do not stop suddenly.

Precautions
Not to be used in pregnancy. Inform your doctor of asthma, severe heart block, kidney trouble, or diabetes. Avoid alcohol as it may increase dizziness. Regular blood pressure monitoring is important.
