Dexona 0.5 from Zydus contains dexamethasone, a corticosteroid medicine used to calm inflammation and certain immune-related conditions.

• Reduces inflammation in allergic and skin conditions
• Helps in some joint, lung and autoimmune disorders
• Used as part of treatment for selected hormonal or eye conditions

Dexamethasone is a synthetic glucocorticoid that suppresses inflammatory chemicals and immune responses in the body, easing swelling, redness and related symptoms.

Swallow the tablet with water, as prescribed by your doctor. Take with food if it upsets your stomach. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

• Higher risk of infections with long use

Tell your doctor about diabetes, infections, ulcers, glaucoma or recent vaccinations. Long-term use needs gradual tapering. Avoid contact with people who have chickenpox or measles if you have not had them.
