Empagreat 25

Empagreat 25 from Mankind is a tablet containing a higher strength of empagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor used in adults with type 2 diabetes. It is also used to support the heart and kidneys in selected patients.

It blocks the SGLT2 protein in the kidneys, so extra sugar passes out in the urine instead of going back into the blood. This lowers blood sugar and reduces strain on the heart and kidneys.

Swallow the tablet with water, as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Drink enough water through the day to stay hydrated.

Tell your doctor about kidney disease, repeated urinary infections, dehydration or low blood pressure. Watch for nausea, vomiting or stomach pain that may signal ketoacidosis and seek care quickly.

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
